MONK offers adult classes for beginning painters through July and August Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Sessions are a week long at a cost of $250 for five two-hour lesson sessions. To ensure plenty of individual attention the class size is limited to 4-5 students.

MONK's class is geared to absolute beginners and starts with the basic fundamentals. You will learn:

• The foundations of oil and acrylic painting and materials.
• Preparing your canvas
• Planning your painting
• Creating a good composition layout
• Colours and how they work together
• How to choose and purchase quality art supplies.

With a solid foundation of basic knowledge you will be prepared to really explore painting. This basic class will get you started! The classes are also a great way to socialize and make new friends. Laugh and have fun with MONK and each other while you learn!

MONK supplies all the materials used on site during classes except canvas, which students will supply.

Children's Painting Classes

Once a week MONK teaches a children's art class outdoors at Rathtrevor Beach at her beach studio. Call MONK for details.

Private Painting Classes
